How about a Dual Band (hard wire) Remote Switch that doesn't directly control a load. Hopefully these would be cheaper than using a Switchlinc for non-load switches in 3 or 4 way light switching. Plus no battery to replace

There's no need to connect a load to any Insteon device. I have several KeypadLincs in tabletop enclosures and on SwitchLinc dimmer, too. Aside: Even though a non-load capable device would not cost as much, it's costly to have double inventoryMessage from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018.
