2634-222 Outdoor switch

I have two these switches unused. I can not get either to "pair" with my 2314U PLM. I hav even did factory resets on both units.. The "switch" button does switch the load on and off. Any thoughts or payers. I swear I stared with x10. then tried going to insteon.. I have boxes of unusable stuff..

Have you tried plugging them in closer to the PLM to set them up, maybe the same outlet?

I have occasional problems at the far reaches of our house getting new devices linked in. Putting the plug-in in my office with a PLM or the new Hub 2 usually works for me. Then, once the data is written into the controller, things usually work for me. In some cases I have to recheck placement of range extender modules.

Double-check the factory reset process and ensure that the switch and PLM are both in pairing mode. Moving forward, try using HouseLinc or the Insteon app, and if all else fails, consulting the Insteon forums might reveal solutions specific to the devices you're using.
