Just installed it 3 days ago. First two it worked great. Now, it doesn't matter what temp you set the heat at, it stays at 70 degrees. Set it to 75? Will say heating but doesn't engage the AC system. Temp dips below 70? It turns on and heats to 70. Busted?

Which thermostat did you install? Which thermostat did you replace?
