If you have a Heat Pump : Nest of Venstar+adapter?

Hi,

We just bought a house, we were planning to install ISY994i and a new Thermostat. But I just found out that they are not compatible with a Heat Pump system. I plan on installing a heat pump, a HRV and chaging my natural gaz furnace.

Would you recommand going with a Nest thermostat, or a Venstar with the Insteon adapter? Which of the two would be more compatible and customizable?

I have the general adapter and am now on my second bad one. If there is a way to integrate nest in mobilinc the. I would go that way.
