Question Regarding New Forum

I see conversation history going back several years.
I see members that have "been members since (several years ago)", and have a ranking based on past posts.

I had been a member of the Smarthome Forums and the Smarthome Insteon sub-forum since before 2005, but I had to create a new account to get on the new forum. My long history seems to be gone. This would be understandable, except that I see other long standing members that still have history.

Why is that? Can I get mine back?

This is the Insteon forums, not the Smarthome forums' Insteon subforum. The fact that one company used to operate both not at all connected is sort of silly, but it is what it is.
