    Indictor lights keep running

Im in the process of hooking up the 2nd switch of a 3 way switch. The main switch is working perfectly but when I hook up the 2nd switch, the indicator lights on the dimmer keep cycling through from low to high. What am a doing wrong?

I just want to say that It sounds like there may be a wiring issue with the second 3-way switch you are trying to hook up. Without more information about the specific wiring configuration, it's difficult to give a precise answer. However, here are some general troubleshooting tips:
    1. Make sure the switch is wired correctly: It's possible that one or more wires are not connected properly. Double-check the wiring on the second switch to make sure that all wires are connected to the correct terminals. Refer to the wiring diagram that came with the switch or consult an electrician if you're unsure.
    2. Check for loose connections: Loose connections can cause intermittent problems and should be tightened. Make sure all wire connections are secure.
    3. Verify the type of switch you are using: Make sure that the second switch is compatible with the dimmer switch you are using. Some dimmer switches require specific types of switches to work properly.
    4. Inspect the wiring on the main switch: It's possible that the wiring on the main switch is incorrect, which can cause issues with the second switch. Double-check the wiring on the main switch to ensure that it is correct.
    5. Check for a faulty switch: If all wiring is correct, it's possible that the second switch may be faulty. Try replacing the switch with a new one and see if the issue persists.

If you're still having trouble, it may be best to consult an electrician to ensure that the wiring is correct and safe. Working with electricity can be dangerous, so it's important to take proper precautions and follow all safety guidelines.Optimum Email
