How to remove devices that no longer work?

I have a couple of open/close sensors that were damaged and oxidized, so they no longer work. I want to remove them, but that’s not possible without them communicating with the hub. Any workaround? Thanks

I had a similar issue of a Leak Sensor no longer working and not communicating to the hub. I went into Edit Devices, selected the device which opens another window with the details of the device. At the bottom of the page is “Delete” with two options. One option is if the device can still communicate. The second option is to do a Force Remove. I selected that option and it removed the non-communicating device and it no longer appears in the Insteon for Hub-2 app. I haven’t migrated over to the Director app but assume it is the same procedure.
