    Open/Close sensor 2843-222 external connections

I am working on an circuit that will use the external connections of the 2843-222. Unfortunately, I am about 800 miles from my sensors so I can not check how the external connections see the switch (short). Does the 2843 send a ground or voltage across the external switch? I know that is looking for a short to be activated.
    Thanks
    Don

One of the external screws is on the Negative Battery terminal. Ground
The other external screw is a positive sensing voltage that is pulled to ground by the external switch. When it is closed.
Ohmmeter also shows the external connections are wired in parallel to the internal magnetic switch. That closes when the magnet is next to the sensor.

      ***** star rating!

Thank you BLH. You saved me a 1600 mile trip... I can at least get started on the project and test the final results when I get back home. I probably should purchase a new 2843 for testing purposes for here... wait do not have a spare hub here...darn!
      Thanks again
