I assume the IP Camera Tool is indicative of a broadcasting to intranet behavior.. is there a way to disable this so someone who happens to have the IP Camera Tool installed can't see the camera? It's nice for detection to set it up but if one knows the IP address through, for instance, a router configuration interface then it's unnecessary.

The is no way to block the tool from functioning. The tool is needed only if you do not know the address. If you do know the address the tool can be deleted from the computer.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018. The camera is not an Insteon device. Virtually all IP camera apps can find your cameras.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018.
