Are there any plans to develop a hub that supports both Alexa and HomeKit? I would like to use Siri (especially while away from home), but prefer Alexa while at home (more reliable).

Apple restricts what HomeKit allows. They certainly wouldn't allow a competitor, although the ISY portal allows both Amazon's Alexa and Google's Home, but not Siri.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018. Stu was a huge fan of Insteon and a huge presence on both the Smarthome and Insteon forums, helping thousands of us along the way (he had nearly 20,000 posts to his name). We thank him for his contributions, dedication, and passion for making the Smart Home a reality. He will truly be missed.

I've written a homebridge plugin that allows you to use Homekit with any of the Insteon Hubs or a PLM. If you have a 2245, you could use both the Alexa integration and Homekit functionality via the plugin. As it turns out, the Hub Pro is a Beagleboard with a serial connection to an Insteon modem and you can run homebridge directly on the Hub Pro itself. See more info here:
