Linking Multiple Hubs - Range Extension

Hi There. I'm trying to figure out how to get devices to connect in an outbuilding (Garage).
I was thinking I could buy another Hub and use that in the Garage.
1. Can you have multiple hubs on 1 account?
2. Can the Hubs "talk" to each other and work together to control devices in each other's buildings?
3. Are there alternatives to getting devices on the Same Hub? Like a Range Extender? I've heard people reference the PLM, but not sure how that works (a redirect to an appropriate thread would help).

(3) The PLM is a serial port or USB port interface. For things like an UDI ISY994i or eiay. Probably would not help.
Are the devices in the Garage Dual Band? The HUB should be.
They could then talk to the main house by both Insteon RF and Power Line.
So it may depend on the distance between the two buildings.
To determine what may be required.
