    Controller Hub has green lights but devices in app showing yellow

    We recently moved and acquired Starlink as our internet provider. The hub has been working off an on since the move. The Hub will show green. Internet access is verified with other laptops devices, etc. The insteon app however shows the devices as yellow.

    Sometimes a reboot fixes this but it doesn't last long.
    Any thoughts?

    It sort of sounds like the Hub established a connection, but it gets dropped before it can go through and poll the devices in the house, leading it to reestablish connection again. It is difficult to say since this is a new satellite service and we don't know if the satellites create a mesh network to keep a connection going for a certain period of time, or if you bounce from sat to sat.

    I would try setting up a continuous ping to a dns service and see if you are losing connection and how often. Then report back.

    Something like the below in a windows command prompt:

    ping 1.1.1.1 -t

    'ping' sends an echo request to see if something is there.
    '1.1.1.1' is a primary DNS server address (meaning common and safe)
    '-t' makes it continuous instead of just the usual four

    On a Mac, open up terminal and type in:

    ping 1.1.1.1

    This is continuous until you hit CTRL + C
