Insteon Hub port to open?

All I find when searching is how to retrieve the port for an already connected hub. What port do I enable to get the hub connected in the first place?

You don't. It configured itself

The 2242-222 model Hub will have the port that it uses listed in the Insteon for Hub app under: Settings-> House (towards the bottom of that list)

As lilyoyo pointed out, the 2245-222 does not require port forwarding. It uses a different approach to talk to the Insteon cloud. Once you power it up, and the front LED has gone green, it is ready for both local and remote control.
