Good morning,
I'm new to home automation and just bought the insteon hub 2242-422 and
two Open / Close Micro modules 2444-422 to use for window shutters. I have installed them (with some problems with the hub), and now they work fine and I can control them from the app.
The problem is when I try to put an schedule to them. I've tried:
* In the device itself. Problem, if I introduce only an On time, when I go
back to previous screen having pressed done in the app, it comes back to
Disabled without reason, and the time input dissapears. If I put both On
and off times, then when I go back to the previous screen, it remains
enabled, but only with the Off time. The On time dissapears.
* I tried creating an scene for the devices. While I create it it works
fine. When configuring the scene and adding the device setting it to On
(with Ramp up by default instant), it works perfectly and opens the shutter
completely. But later on, when I try to activate the scene, well manually
or through an schedule, the micro module
reacts, but it only opens the shutter a fraction. I've tried different
settings for the devices on the scene (99%, 75%, ramp up times of 30 secs..) but nothing
seems to work.
In summary, I can now open or close the shutters through the app but I'm not
able to schedule them well through the devices or an scene. I cannot also use an scene to open both shutters at the same time, even manually, as when I activate the scene, the shutters open only partially.
What else can I try?
Thanks,
