Both of these Android apps were running fine until a couple of days ago. Each time you opened them they would fail and exit the app on opening favorites after about 4 seconds.
Spoke to tech support and we tried a couple of things and isolated it to the first screen of devices (in favorites). You could scroll to the next screen of devices and it would not crash.
So I set up a new room and experimented with adding devices until the app failed. It turns out it was the Nest thermostat which I had added with the iOS app. Every time it was in the room, the app would fail.
Interestingly, though, the Nest had been in the favorites for some time with no problems but now it is causing the Android app to fail. The Android app has not changed in some time, so my only theory is that there was a change in the Nest system but I'm not sure.
Anyone else have the problem?
