Seems other company's software has geofencing a real useful feature. When can we see this from the hubs main software? or can we somehow do this now??

Take a look at Tasker Automation from your Android Phone...Start with this link which shows you how to activate a scene with voice control. I think you also need the AutoLocation plugin for Tasker and then you can activate any scene based on your phone being in a particular location.
