Thermostat mode buttons in Android version 1.7.0

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but since i updated the app to the latest version 1.7.0, the buttons to change mode [Off] [Heat] [Cool] and [Auto] have disappeared from the thermostat control screen. Is it a bug? or am i missing something?
Mobile phone is Samsung Galaxy SII, android Version is 4.1.2
