    Keypad programming Question

We are looking to add Upper and lower cabinet lighting, but due to the way the home is built we will have to split the cabinet lighting into left and right outlets. Can a insteon keypad control two different plugs on two different outlets.

    For example:
    Two insteon outlets
    One keypad

Program one button on the keypad to control top plug on two different outlets. So basically you have a button, called upper lights that when pressed would turn on the top outlet on the left and right outlets for the cabinet lights.

Each button on the keypad is independent. What each button controls doesn't even need to be on the same circuit although it can be.

Sorry, im a little confused. So one keypad button can be programmed to turn on the upper plug on the two different insteon remote controlled outlets?

Yes, create a scene where one button is a controller and the two top outlets are responders. Alternatively, you can use two buttons, each controlling a separate outlet. Even three buttons where one button controls both top outlets concurrently and the other two for individual control.
