Static electricity problems

I live in a dry climate in Arizona and have been using Lightolier Compose lighting control for several years. They are very susceptible to damage from static electricity, in that they get zapped and are useless.

Is static electricity a problem with the Insteon equipment?

Sounds like a humidifier is required in the not too distant future for your home. Keeping in mind ensuring your home is properly humidified translates to better health, well being, and over all comfort for human.

Never mind saving you money on replacement costs for electronics that get zapped . . .
