Replacing a defective 2242-222R Hub with a new one

Hi,

I just received a 2242-222R Hub to replace my defective one (same model), which died after only few weeks of use. I plugged the new Hub into the router and powered it on. HouseLinc can see the new Hub and I am able to control the light bulbs as well. No problems here. The issue I am experiencing is that when I launch the SmartHome iPhone App, it is unable to connect to the new Hub. I suspect that the app is still trying to connect to the old Hub, which is no longer in my possession. How can I fix this? Or am I supposed to create a new SmartHome account with a different email address? (I'd rather not, if possible). Thank you in advance for your help.

The cloud doesn't know that you changed Hubs. Create a new account using you current credentials. If that doesn't work, try here: http://forum.smarthome.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8037

Hi,

Thanks for replying. The topic you linked to doesn't seem to relate to the issue I am having. It's about a buzzlinc.
I tried creating a new account using the same email address but I was unable to (Failed to create account. Please try again).
Maybe you meant to link to a different topic (one that explains how to create a new account with the same emaild address) but mistakenly linked to the buzzlinc instead? But thank you for your time nonetheless!
