Need help with linking dimmer switch

I just bought a Dimmer Switch (2-wire,no neutral) and a hub. I have installed the switch correctly (I swear I opened it thrice to verify). I can't get it to link with the hub. The "led bar" to indicate the brightness is strobing down to up and the light is always on. It doesn't even work as a regular switch. I've tried resetting it many times but the switch just doesn't work. What am I missing?

It was the bulbs. It needs dimmable incandescent bulbs. Absolutely does nothing on an LED bulb.

The sales page for that switch. Says incandescent bulbs only. As it steals power through the bulb to get its power.
I have seen some mixed reports with dimmable LED bulbs and a small shunt device that simulates a incandescence bulb and passes enough power for the module to work.
