    ZigBee/ Z-Wave interface

Ok this device(s) would simply translate/ bridge ZigBee/ Z-Wave to Insteon. In the Insteon network the ZigBee/ Z-Wave devices would appear to be limited function Insteon devices.

    Examples

    1. I have a ZigBee Power Meter, but it's located at the other end of the building (100'). I would hard wire this device in the power panel and it would really data to be used on the Insteon Network via power line.

    2. You could use this device to incorporate ZigBee/ Z-Wave devices into the Insteon network without an additional HUB or ISY module. Granted this might be expensive as it needs the different controller chips, but it could be placed in remote areas not reached by a HUB or having to add ZigBee/ Z-Wave devices to repeate the signal.
