The specs for the current ApplianceLinc show a temperature range of 32°-104°. A harsh environment version would be dual-band and would address a much wider temperature range and variations in humidity such as those found in attics, unheated spaces and damp cellars.

Yes, I own two of them, but I hate their design. I would much prefer if the plug were attached to the device instead of the short cord. Functionally it would make for a more stable setup plus it wouldn't be so ugly.

If a plug was attached to the device instead of the shot cord, then it wouldn't fit in a typical outdoor box, that is, one with a cover..

Yes, that is how I use one of my devices at Christmas but there are numerous other applications where the cord isn't needed at the becomes an impediment. I do not understand why that device is so large. Do you know?

I live in Minnesota and the temp can get down to -20 sometimes. A really cold weather outdoor module would be great for Christmas.
