Remote Temperature / Humidity Sensor

I would like to see an Insteon enabled remote temperature / humidity sensor that can be placed anywhere. It would have to be small, discreet, and elegant. It should be able to sit on a platform or be mounted on the wall. The device should have the basics like low battery monitor, heart beat, and the ability to check in and be polled from a controller.

It should have the ability to be battery and hardwired if required. The device should have nice backlit LCD and buzzer along with indicating the high / low temperature and humidity levels. The user should be able to set min / max thresholds so the unit can send out an alert / broadcast.

The device should definitely be rechargeable maybe even solar powered?

Something a lot smaller would be better. The limitations with the current design is that it needs to be plugged into receive updates as they happen opposed to every minute etc. Also, some members have indicated the current remote TSTAT reacts a little odd when the PSU voltage is not just right.
