    There was also something that looked like a keypad, where the buttons were timer countdown values and a clock.

    Long time ago. In early Insteon days.
    They made a 2456S3T power line only ApplianceLinc that had a built in timer. Backed up by a coin cell.
    Also a 2476ST On Off Wall Switch with a timer feature in it.
    Maybe if enough request it it may come back.

  • Insteon Protocol Feature Request: on-board Timer function

    There are many situations in which I would love to have a timer, (bathroom fan, heater, etc) that I would like to be able to add a timer to. I have been doing it with the Eisy and that does work. However I would like the added reliability of the timer function being on-board the device so that in the event that the controller is not online, at least the timer can still perform its funcitons.
