Removing devices that belong to a scene in the newer android app.

I've been an Insteon home for several years. During the period of initial setup, there was a lot of trial and error. One of my biggest mistakes was adding and removing different devices and not removing the device from a scene first. On the old app the settings for the device listed the scenes the device was a member of. This is not the case with the newer android app.

Is removing a device from a scene before removing the device from the home still important?

Yes it is still important. Links resides in the devices as well as the hub so if not removed they'll still be linked
