    Do I need a Hub?

Can I schedule devices using my iPhone to turn on and off or does it require a hub?

What hub works the most reliably? None get great reviews.

        They all have their issues.

IMHO the ISY-994i is the best controller on the market but for simple schedules the 2245-222 Hub should be fine.

That depends on what you are trying to accomplish in addition to how much time, money, and effort you're willing to invest.

I concur with Sean that the ISY is the best hub. However, if you are looking for ease of use, the isy is not for you.

Personally I don't think the hub is a bad device. It does what it was made to do. I think many people get it for price and then expects than what it was designed for.
