Frustration

I can fix nearly anything on a car, and everything on a bicycle, but insteon has me stumped.

I paid an electrician to install x4, 8 button keypads in my kitchen to control lights. He can't make them work and neither can I.

I have read and watched numerous articles and videos. Called insteon, etc.

Is there a definitive guide that I can read to completely start over? I understand certain concepts but dont understand the order of operations to have the four keypads buttons behave identically.

I can get the main button to turn on, off, dim, the six sets of lights and that's about it.

Any recommendations or help is greatly appreciated.

My research leads me to believe that the Hub may be the key to successful programming. I was hesitant to invest more money, but understand that I can return it if it doesn't work within 30 days. I'm going to give it a try and then report back.
