    Connectivity issues

    Hi,

I have a US Hub (2245-222) And two Micro Open/Close - One is the US version (2444-222) and the other is the EU version (2444-422)

Insteon support told me that with my configuration, only the US device will be able to communicate with the Hub via RF.
The EU device will have to connect to the same power circuit as the Hub.

My problem is that both only works when connected to the same power circuit.

Can I enable/disable the RF feature somehow?
How can I make both devices work? (I can put the hub wherever is needed)

Most likely, the us version is not within rf range of the hub which is why it's not working. Once on the same circuit it is getting the powerline signal. If your in the us, your best bet is to start with getting the proper devices for your country. If not, then ditto for the country you are in.

You could also purchase range extenders or other dual band devices. Installed on either phase (within rf distance), they'll bridge your phases allowing your hub to talk to your devices.
