Hi. I am thinking of getting the 8-Button dimmer keypad. I read there is only one direct connection to a bulb socket. What will be required to add additional sockets to the keypad? Thanks.

Maybe this will answer your question. The keypad has one direct load you can wire to the keypad. Just like and other switch. You can also virtually link any other insteon device to the keypad.
This way the keypad controls not only the load it is directly wired to but also it can control any other device you have insteon connected to.
If you want the keypad to control another lamp just connect a lamp module to that lamp then link it to the keypad.

Yes the micro dimmer can be wired ahead of a lighting load such as a can light in a ceiling and then linked to a keypad to control that load. It does not wire into the socket it wires ahead of the socket.Comment
