What is the practical effect of setting the high and low humidity boundary points on this device? Ideally, it would work by energizing one of the terminals with 24V when humidity falls below the low setpoint, and/or turn on the AC when the humidity exceeds the high setpoint. This is precisely what the Insteon compatible Venstar thermostat would do, and I was using the low setpoint to turn on my humidifier.
There are unmarked terminal connections on the 2441TH. Just as a test, I connected my humidifier wire to the bottom one, and determined that it IS ENERGIZED with 24V so my humidifier came on. However, I can't determine if that connection is ALWAYS energized, or is toggled by some other setting. Is there a schematic or block diagram of the thermostat available, or does anyone know the definitive answer?
