I have a dark room, stays dark with the exception of some RGB Light strips that I want to monitor for motion and as long as there is motion the lights stay on.
Currently, it picks up motion, but it has to be somewhat deliberate motion. It won't pick up on slight motions. If I place the MS II near me it picks up and works fine, but if I place it 10-12 feet away it won't pick up on the same motions as it does close by.
I'm pretty sure that it's the light or lack of light in the room, so I'm thinking I need to set the light sensitivity higher.
I've tried experimenting with it, but can't seem to find the right values.
Can someone with a similar environment provide some education and share their values for such parameters as day and night threshold, sensitivity, and hysteresis and any other information that might be valuable to me getting it working properly?
BTW, I'm using the MS II with the UDI ISY controller.
