I feel like this is a dumb question.
But with the leak sensors, they come packaged with a plastic wrapper. On any other device, you would unwrap that off the device. But, does this serve any specific purpose on these leak sensors? Should they be left on?
I think it shouldn't matter as you'd have to take them off anyway to change the batter (or to do a reset). And, it doesn't make the device waterproof or anything; and as soon as it gets wet, it sends it's on signal, so it doesn't matter if it gets soaked after that.
