I have an IRLinc and I followed the instructions to learn a remote command while plugged into an extension cord it learns the code and pressing the set button to test it works fine. I can pair it with a switch and that works fine. But when I remove the extension cord to plug it into the outlet, everything is lost. The set button no longer sends the command and the linked switch does nothing. It's supposed to have non-volatile memory, right?

You are correct. I had one IRLinc that behaved that way. I ended up replacing it under warranty. But, before you do that, try a factory reset.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018.
