Insteon Dimmer Complianace with NEMA SSL7A

    Hello,

Does anyone know if Insteon dimmers comply with or plan to to comply with NEMA-SSL7A? It would go a long way toward addressing LED compatibility issues and seems to be a requirement to sell in California.

    Thanks!

Not currently supported. This spec has been around since at least 2013, and has gone through some iterations, but Insteon still favors their forward phase triac dimming approach.

I still hope they will consider this, because I find it much more useful venge io

PWMO dimming has the advantages of having a high contrast ratio (5,000:1 or higher is easily achievable), fast modulation, and a consistent spectrum.
