I have a 2245-222 Hub that has been intermittently losing return messages (from device) for a few months, and I just can't take it anymore. The Echo Dot is horribly annoying when this happens, although I assume the message "(Device/Scene) isn't responding. Please check its network connection and power supply" comes from the Insteon skill, not Echo.
Are there any known component failures in the communications circuit?
I fixed the C7 power supply cap once and that still is fine.
Anyway, is Insteon still offering to repair Hubs out of warranty?
I was looking for a refurb on Insteon.com but there don't seem to be any more for sale. What is latest h/w version of 2245 Hub?
