Suggestion: PLEASE allow HUB2 to trigger special scenes based on FastON/OFF events

The Insteon Dimmer and ON/OFF switches have the double-tap feature called Fast ON/OFF which allows the user to instantly turn on/off the load by quickly double tapping the on or off paddle switch. When this is done the switch sends a different code to the other Insteon devices. This code can be trapped by software connected to a PLM (like HCA), and can then be used to trigger other software events/programs. However, the Insteon HUB simply treats the Fast ON/OFF as a regular ON/OFF event. If part of a scene, it will control the same devices as it does for a regular on/off event.

I suggest the HUB firmware be modified to trap the unique Fast ON/OFF messages and allow the HUB to trigger any other scenes where the HUB is a controller.

USE-CASE: User has Insteon switches throughout the home, including one by the main entrance. This switch is not the controller of any scenes. Regular ON/OFF paddle use only controls the load connected to the switch. However, the hub could be setup to be the controller of multiple scenes. One could be an ALL_LIGHTS_OFF scene, which is triggered by a FastOFF message from the switch by the entrance. Alternatively, the FastON message from the entrance switch could be used to trigger a different HUB controlled scene, such as an AWAY lighting scheme.

My adding this capability to the HUB, it would allow every switch to have multiple purposes and keep users from moving to 3rd party software and HUBS.
