Last week there was a global attack against many forum sites that use the vBulletin platform, including our own. The attack took down our forum for a few hours on Friday but we were able to implement a patch and the site returned to normal.
During the attack some forum user information such as email address, usernames, and other details added to profiles would have been accessible, but we have not found any evidence of data being retrieved from our servers. Passwords are not stored in our database, however we would recommend users change their passwords out of an abundance of caution.
