I have motion detector set up to turn on a light and send me a message when motion is detected, and 5 minutes later to turn the light off and send me another message.
The light always immediately responds properly to the detector's commands.
If there has been no activity for several hours, I do not receive an 'on' alert. If there has been activity, I do get the 'on' alert. (I always get the 'off' alert - probably because it is always proceeded by the 'on' activity five minutes earlier).
Thoughts?
