Using 2634-222 without a controller?

This may be a dumb question, but I can't find an answer online.

I have a Hub Pro, the Insteon+ app and just got two 2634-222 to control my Christmas lights. According to the instructions, it looks like I have to pair the outdoor outlet adapters with an existing controller (ie; switch) and I can't just add them as devices to my Insteon+ app, is that correct?

Is it possible to pair them with the 2635-222 (the indoor module that it looks like I _can_ add to the Insteon+ app), so that when I turn on the indoor module (for the Christmas tree) the outdoor lights go on, pair it with a scene, etc.?

I guess it was my mistake for thinking the outdoor module would be able to be its own device and controlled from within the app. Rookie mistake.

Disregard entirely, I'm dumb.

The tag with the Insteon ID on it (on one of the dimmers) had fallen off in the box. I only noticed it when I unpacked the other one.

All is right with the world. Viva la Insteon!
