Just got the starter kit, and the wifi camera. All set up, working fine (except for things that don't). The yellow LED on the back of the unit, which I assume to be a transmit indicator, is flashing continuously whether I am connected to it viewing video or not. Does this mean that the camera is transmitting video across my wifi network 24/7?

The yellow light is simply an indication that the camera is live and connected. Any "on" device connected to your router has a similar indication. Yes, the image is available for viewing anytime the camera is connected. Anything that's on and connected to your router is available. too.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018.
