Wireless door sensor controls 9V DC LEDs at 150ft

Hello,

Sorry about the newb question here. I would like to have a door sensor (wireless, as small as possible) control an on/off switch of bunch of LEDs (9V DC) located at around 150ft away.

I'm looking at 2 items, let me know if I'm correct:
1) INSTEON® Open/Close Sensor (http://cache-m2.smarthome.com/manuals/2843-x22-rev-1-9qs.pdf)
2) I/O Linc™ – INSTEON® Low Voltage/Contact Closure (http://cache-m2.smarthome.com/manuals/2450qs.pdf)

The documentation for the I/O linc shows a wired connection to the open/close sensor, which is a bit confusing.
Thanks a lot,

The Open/Close Sensor is capable of sending an ISTEON signal. It has an integrated magnetic contact switch. Nothing else is needed.

The I/O Linc uses an separate magnetic contact switch as a trigger. The separate magnetic contact switch in NOT the Open/Close Sensor. It can be purchased separately or is included with the garage door kit.
