The nest protect (the smoke/carbon alarm) is a really good product. Now that they've added the thermostat support, any news on adding the nest protect to the Insteon hub?

I believe that the Smoke Bridge can do that. Create a scene with the bridge as a controller.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018. That requires that Google (or any third party device manufacturer) release their API to Insteon Labs. I don't know that they did, I don't know that they didn't. It's also a matter of what's involved in making changes to the Hub app. If you've ever coded, then you know that making changes is not always trivial.
You may want to use whatever Hub app you're using to notify Insteon Labs of your request. Setting, About, Feedback.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018. However, I'm getting a queasy feeling that Insteon starting to languish while everything else is taking off like wildfire. Or maybe its because I'm watching all this cool stuff around me and I can't integrate with 'em (Android app (still) clunky, IFTTT integration, for example)...

Although the Hub (if you're using one) does not accept IFTTT recipes, the Hub is compatible with Stringify which provides a similar function.Message from Forum Admin: stusviews passed away in April 2018.
