    geo fence / gps

It would be great to have triggers based on the geo location of the device where the app is installed. Example: Put AC off when I am away from home. This feature is available on the Honeywell lyric thermostat. Another example is a dog collar which triggers an alarm when the dog goes too far away from a trigger device or a geo fence.

This would be a great feature for the Insteon Hub paired with the Inteon for Hub app: geo-fensed triggers for scenes. The Revolv Bub does this well for example.

+1 every other hub has this, and it's clearly something that can be done since Revolv did it.

They did it and they are also gone. Google has shelved this product in hopes to bring in more HA engineers to the fold. 2015 will be very interesting to see how the HA landscape changes in the not too distant future.

What I find funny is that these guys who built the Revolv were not multi million dollar company until bought out by Google. Yet they were able to bring in multi protocol, multi antenna, and features. Yet Smartlabs in the last four years has failed to offer anything that the market already has in place??

When you're the new kid on the block you can be excused for missing features etc. As it takes time to develop and release the support when man power is low. But, when you see the opposite and many features are made available since day one it makes you wonder what is Smartlabs doing with all the money, resources, and man power??
          Teken . . .

Has development stopped or what is their explanation for lack of update(s)?

Would be great if it was native to the Hub/App...but in the mean time, if you have Tasker on an Android phone, you can do that. This article is voice command to activate a scene but you could set up a geo-fence in Tasker to trigger the Scene also.

This is already available and has been for quite a while, at least on Windows Phone, because Cortana can Geofence pretty much anything.
