    Native Beep & Flash

I would like to see future Insteon devices where the physical device can be programmed to beep / flash the LED's. Right now the end user must have a controller such as the ISY-994 Series Controller. Where the controller simply sends on / off commands to the end device. Having more than one program such as the above can cause huge amounts of traffic on the power line and can also impact the controller from working properly.

So, if the two functions could be natively embedded in the device and a simple command could make the device beep / flash with (variable) frequency that would be a huge asset.

This would remove power line congestion and traffic from clogging up the controller and Insteon network.

And while your at it, could you fix the Beep duration in ALL beep-able Insteon devices?

I just wanted to clarify my idea of the native beep and flash. The original idea was to simply make the hardware beep and flash its siren / LED's. Not the actual load but if people believe that has more value than why not?

Having the ability to define which feature will repeat is the ideal solution whether it be just the beeper, LED, load, or a combination of any three. If people see value in this idea please select the *LIKE* button to get this feature on the road map.
