    2732-242 wont adjust temp remotely

On my 2nd thermostat both with same issue. All other functions work but not temp adjustment. What can this be, how to best troubleshoot?

What are you using to remotely adjust the temperature?

The app requires hardware, which do you have a 2242 or 2245 or something else?

There are many different ways to control insteon devices. The more information you provide about your system, the better people are able to assist you in correcting the problems that you are having. As Stusviews mentioned, what hub are you using, do you have other insteon devices around, etc.

Hi and thanks for responding. Sorry to assume so much. Yes i understand the app requires hardware. I mention the model of the thermostat in the subject. I have a motion sensor, light bulb, door sensor and two water sensors connecting successfully to a hub 2245 rev 2.3 -4916 running firmware version 1012. All the thermostat functions show up and respond except for adjusting temp.
i have another hub and thermostat in another building that works fine including adjusting temp so i am perplexed at this one showing this issue.
your review and comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Have you tried a factory reset?

              Factory Reset
              1) Press and hold Insteon Thermostat’s Set button until it beeps.
              Insteon Thermostat will beep.
Insteon Thermostat Set LED will blink
              green.
              2) Press and hold Insteon Thermostat’s Set button again until it beeps.
              Insteon Thermostat will beep.
Insteon Thermostat Set LED will blink
              red.
              3) Double-tap Set button.
              4) Press and hold Set button again for about 10 seconds.
Insteon Thermostat will emit a long beep and its display will blink all segments.
              5) When blinking/buzzing stops, release Set button and wait 10 seconds.
Insteon Thermostat will perform a series of self tests, then return to normal operations.
Insteon Thermostat display will return to normal.

It's critical that you follow the steps exactly. If you err during the procedure, then start over. Don't pick up where you left off. Wait for at least 4 minutes if you need to start over.

If you calibrated the temperature and/or humidity, then the adjustments will remain in place. You will not need to calibrate again.

Yes. In fact just did it again just to make sure.. The device definitely reset and the behavior remains the same. The temp won't reset remotely.
anxious and willing to work this to a solution. Thanks again for all the suggestions.

How close to the hub is the thermostat? Depending on where the bulb is, try moving the bulb between the hub and thermostat (if it isn't already) to see if that helps with communication
