Control Split Air conditioner

Hi,
How can one integrate a split air conditioner on the Insteon equation?. I read front Stu that you can accomplish this with an on/off module and a wireless thermostat. Since the A/C is 220v how exactly can this be done and how to operate?. Thank you in advance.

Which specific AC? How do you currently control the AC?
