  • Question: LED Strip control, either interface with RF switch or replace?

    Hi -
I have a bunch of display cabinets that I had put LED strips in.
    like these:

    spec pdf:http://www.inspiredled.com/pdf/CutConnect3M3.pdf

Instead of the inline switch I went with a remote that also does dimming.

I am at a point where I would like to integrate these lights into scenes with my Insteon devices.

Is there a way to bridge Insteon control to a RF 2.4GHZ communication?
Alternately is there a way to replace the Dimmable Transformer for these lights with something that is controllable by Insteon?

I currently have two of the two amp power supply plugs running to two of the dimmable units.

    Thanks in advance.

Insteon cannot control thos LEDs directly, but you can plug the power supply into an Insteon outlet (wire-in or plug-in) for On/Off. You cannot use any Insteon dimmer nor control the color with Insteon.
