I like the FTP abilities of the security camera. I have a NAS hidden away and created a windows tray app (not a windows service yet) that watches for incoming FTP file and copies to my NAS that is hidden way. If anyone wants to inner house archive their FTP let me know and I can share. Attached find the settings dialog. I wanted vacation mode, and a few other settings. I use this daily. There are bugs (just fixed two today).
The gist of it is when the camera FTP's a file to my main machine it will archive the file to my NAS (which is hidden in the house). I'm a cheapskate and will not pay for external FTP or file storage. It also has a video preview, as well as a house cleaning (disk size cleaner) setting.
See bitmap attached for an idea and if you have any questions let me know. Not going to charge but if you are using FTP this might be good for you. This is in alpha mode, could use some feedback to make this mainstream (or not).
