    Insteon switch installation Issue

I've had an old insteon switch (7+) year that failed on me. This is linked to 3 other Insteon switches in the room. I ordered a new one and replace it (wired exactly the same way). Once I switched the breaker on, there was no sign of power going into the switch. Thinking that I might of received a faulty switch, I tested it by swapping it with another insteon wall switch. Well, not only did it still not work, when I went back to put the orginal switch that I swapped back, this switch will not power up. I know the circuits & lights are working find, as I temporarily put in a simple toggle switch in.

Only thing I'm thinking now is that do I have to actually "programmed/link" these switches? I would think that once it power on, I should see the LED light on?

If it is wired correctly the light should be on regardless of whether it is linked or not. Make sure the set button is pushed in on the switch and double check the connections in your wire nuts. With multiple devices exhibiting the same behavior, I suspect a wiring issue.

Describe the wiring at the errant switch, the color of each wire and what each is connected to. You can disregard any ground wires.
